I think that Winter’s story is amazing! I’ve never heard of a dolphin that has a prostetic tail. I think she is a brave and amazing little dolphin. When I read the book Winter’s tail in my school, I didn’t think that her friend Panama would make friends with her but I’m glad she did. I hope someday to come and visit Winter.

I’ve been this wonderful blessing from God’s adoptive mom and I’m so proud of what she is doing for all of those with disabilities.. Particularly those disable veterans.. Semper Fidelis Little Lady. Will see you in March.

I just wanted to verify that Winter’s tail was not cut off. Because she was entangled in ropes for so long in the wild her circulation was cut off. When she was brought into CMA, her tail slowly began falling off on it’s own. We just made sure she was in less pain as possible and that she was monitored closely. Thanks to the trainers for all there long hours and hard work!
