World-renowned marine wildlife artist and conservationist Guy Harvey will visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) this Saturday, December 5 at 6 p.m. to create a one-of-a-kind painting with Winter the dolphin. The unique event will also include a talk by Harvey, a private dolphin show, raffles, silent and live auctions (featuring artwork by Harvey), food, drinks, music and more. Proceeds will benefit CMA and the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. Members of the public can pay regular admission to CMA to watch Guy Harvey and Winter paint together from 6 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The fundraiser will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. This cost is $75 per person and includes admission to CMA, food and drinks. In honor of the big event, it’s Guy Harvey week at CMA! Harvey also created custom-designed t-shirts that are being sold exclusively in the Aquarium gift shop and in our online store. In addition, a 26-foot boat with graphic designs by Guy Harvey is on display at CMA several days this week. Guy Harvey Inc. and European marine manufacturer, Peer Gynt, recently launched the new line of customized center consoles. Peer Gynt donated the first boat as the grand prize in a year-long raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased at CMA for $25 each or five for $100. The boat will be raffled off in October 2010 and proceeds will benefit the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.
