New York City Firefighter and Iraqi War Veteran to Marry at CMA on Valentine’s Day!

CMA and the Gold and Diamond Source are pleased to announce New York City residents Julixa Campusano and Sergio Claudio have won our “Second Annual Wedding of a Lifetime” Contest. The wedding package is valued at more than $20,000.

Julixa served for 545 days in Iraq as a member of the U.S. army and now works for the Department of Veteran Affairs. Sergio is a New York City firefighter and was part of the rescue unit on September 11. The two have been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2006 and will get married at CMA on a platform over the main dolphin pool on Valentine’s Day 2010. Resident CMA dolphins Nicholas and Winter will assist in the nuptials.

Eighty couples entered the contest, including couples from New York, Iowa and all over Florida. The wedding package presented by CMA and the Gold and Diamond Source includes the following:

• Wedding rings provided by Gold and Diamond Source – (Visit www.goldanddiamondsource.com to see the rings)

• One-of-a-kind, custom wedding dress for bride created by Maria McGill’s Entrada Couture

• Professional photography by Photos by J. David (includes two sessions for engagement and wedding photos)

• Wedding night stay on Feb. 14 in a suite at the Sandpearl Resort

• Honeymoon to Sanibel Island provided by Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa (includes a four-night stay at their Tarpon House)

• Tuxedos for groom and groomsmen provided by Deolinda’s Tuxedo & Tailoring

• Flowers for bride and groom provided by DJ’s Florist

• Limousine service by Ambassador Limousines

• Wedding cake following the ceremony provided by Publix

• A sparkling wine toast following the ceremony provided by Zenzen Wines USA

• Professional hair styling for bride and bridesmaids provided by Melissa Duchaine

• Professional make-up for bride and bridesmaids provided by Salon Vachon

• Use of CMA by bride and groom and 100 guests for a wedding Sunday, Feb. 14

• An ordained minister to perform the ceremony

Congratulations! What an amazing opportunity for an equally amazing couple. Our children wonder what Winter and Nicholas will wear! Will they get to carry the rings? :-)

Funny, no clothes, but yes one of them will carry the rings. We did the same for the couple last year and it was so cute. Stay tuned for the pictures!!
