Ms. Cone’s first grade class in Marlborough, Connecticut, has been truly inspired by Winter’s story. Their Winter doll reads with them and gets to go home with a student every weekend. The 20 students in Amy Cone’s class fell in love with Winter after watching the Scholastic Webcast this past October. Students made Winter birthday cards and love learning about her story. In Ms. Cone’s class, they remember that Winter can, so they can.
