This past February, Florida Governor Charlie Crist visited CMA to help kick off an adoption campaign called “Winter’s Dream.” The Winter’s Dream Campaign is CMA’s new partnership with Governor Crist’s Office of Adoption and Child Protection, the Department of Children and Families, Eckerd Youth Alternatives and Progress Energy Heart Gallery of Pinellas and Pasco.
“Winter’s Dream” is about raising awareness of the need for Winter to be adopted and for children in foster care to be adopted.
Winter lost her family when she was entangled in a crab trap and she was brought to CMA where she found her “forever family.” Many kids in Florida’s foster care system face similar challenges.
When you Adopt Winter, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Progress Energy Heart Gallery who assist children in finding their “forever family”.
