Don’t Miss “Making Waves: A New Speaker Series at CMA”

CMA is pleased to announce the launch of a new, free speaker series Thursday, October 15. The first presentation, “All About Dolphins and More About Winter,” will include an in-depth look at how dolphins live, feed and breed in the wild. It will explore what we need to know in order to help them survive in the wild. CMA staff will also share how this organization works around the clock to rescue, rehabilitate and release animals back into the wild. Staff members will also discuss the story of Winter, a young dolphin who survived after losing her natural tail. Guests will be able to hold Winter’s actual prosthetic tail!
This FREE Speakers Series is geared toward anyone wanting to learn more about our marine life. Open to all ages.
Thursday, October 15 event will include the following:
6 p.m. – Snacks/Welcome
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Presentations by CMA’s Director of Education Joe Malo and Head Trainer Abby Stone
7:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Question and Answer Session
Please e-mail outreach@cmaquarium.org for more details.
As part of this program, CMA will host “All About Sea Turtles” Thursday, November 19.
